Mary Connolly, Program Chair of the Skills-Based Health/SEL program at Cambridge College, is an active member of SHAPE America, the Society of Health and Physical Educators, and presents at the national conferences, serves on various committees, has written lessons and units and was the Chair of the Social Emotional Learning sub-committee.
This fall, Mary is facilitating an 8-session professional learning experience based on her text, Teaching Social Emotional Learning in Health Education. The program consists of four asynchronous power points based on chapters of the text and four follow-up synchronous sessions where participants share ideas about how to implement the SEL competencies in their health classroom.
