CC Science Faculty Shines at Conference

Supporting Rubin's induction and participating at the conference were Cambridge College Science Faculty Members (l to r): Professor John Papadonis, Professor Thomas Vaughn, Dr. Joel Rubin, Dr. David Lyons and Professor Sean Mussleman.

Cambridge College science faculty member, Dr. Joel Rubin was named The Massachusetts Science Educator of the Year at the annual Massachusetts Science Educators Leadership Association on October 20th. Dr. Rubin was honored for his stellar science service as Director of Teacher Services at the New England Aquarium, Board Executive for MA Marine Educators, Technology and Environmental Science Teacher at Stoughton High School and Professor at Cambridge College.  His career has been highlighted by his passion for sharing his science expertise with a broad range of learners, elementary through graduate students.

It was also noted that Cambridge College Science Faculty Members John Papadonis, Dr. David Lyons and Professor Thomas Vaughn have also been recognized as members of this elite group of honored science educators over the past 10 year period.
