CC Leadership Speaker Series: Mo Cowan

On February 19, 2014, former United States Senator William "Mo" Cowan visited Cambridge College as part of the school's Leadership Speaker Series. TV host and CityLine producer Karen Holmes Ward led a lively discussion with Senator Cowan about his professional journey.

Prior to his interim Congressional service in 2013, Senator Cowan served as Senior Advisor, Chief of Staff, and Chief Legal Counsel to Massachusetts Governor Deval L. Patrick. Senator Cowan was the eighth African-American to serve in the Senate, and the second to represent Massachusetts in the Upper Chamber, after Senator Edward Brooke.
