MFT/Adjunct Faculty - California
Job Summary
Cambridge College is currently seeking outstanding Marriage and Family Practitioners-Scholars to join our diverse pool of adjunct faculty to teach on the School of Psychology and Counseling program, for the Spring, Summer and Fall semesters.
Responsibilities
- The primary responsibility of adjunct faculty is to deliver instruction in the manner determined by the department. Faculty responsibilities include:
- Preparation of syllabus and teaching of curriculum according to the goals and objectives of the SOPC department.
- Participation in meetings and departmental activities as identified by the regional director or program coordinator.
- Determine student mastery of material and assign final course grades from evaluation of tests, quizzes, homework, and other assignments and activities related to course material.
- Use of technology and MY CC program to prepare syllabus, course assignments and grades.
- Office hours in relation to the course load carried.
Qualifications
- Exemplary Professional Experience
- Must have a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or related area.
- Minimum of 3 years clinical experience
- Licensure in Field for certain selected courses
- Graduate teaching experience minimum 1 year
- The ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds
Additional Responsibilities
Assigned teaching duties will not exceed 6 units per semester; office hours and additional duties may be assigned.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage confidential information.
- Self-starter, ability to communicate effectively in written and oral form.
